Sunday Thoughts

At this moment, I'm listening to Kycen giggle as I poke him in the belly. He's really amused by my antics right now...could be it's past his bedtime and he's tired, OR, he's enjoying his one-on-one time with mommy tonight. I'm going to go with option #2, which brings a big smile to my face! Preslie stayed the night with my parents tonight since she doesn't have school tomorrow.

I've been following the blog of a family I went to high school with for the last several days. My heart is aching for them and their little boy who had a tumor on his brain removed on Friday. I cannot imagine what they are going through at this time, and I am praying for their cute little boy and family.

It has really made me think about alot of things this weekend. It's made me hug my kids a little tighter. Go to Mcdonald's for the 2nd week in a row for breakfast by request of my cute daughter. Watch Megamind about 10 times since Friday. Start planning an outrageous/crazy party for my daughter for her 6th birthday.

So today I'm going to vow to not sweat the small stuff and to consider each new day I have with the ones I love, a gift.
