This weekend we decided to head on out to the Farmers Market in downtown Ogden...just to check it out. I was hoping I'd find some fresh local fruit to buy (since the grocery stores seem to be so pricey lately, and not very tasty). I was soooo surprised to find TONS of booths. Not all local crops, but there were some. And food vendors. And all types of craft vendors. Booths were lining the park, as well as up and down 25th Street. It was kinda crazy! I probably should've allotted more time than 1 hour to browse, but it worked out perfectly.

We left with peaches, nectarines, and apricots (our favorites). Preslie ate fresh watermelon there, and we tried some cherries too. My favorite purchase was the Mint Limeade...my guess is it was similar to a Mojito, just minus the alcohol. Anyhow, it was probably the best drink I've ever tasted!

It was super hot, so we were all sweating to death by the time we got back to the car. I had to laugh when Preslie wanted to go walk around and look at the trains at the Union Station when she was just complaining of "roasting to death" (her words, not mine). We ended up at my parent's and the kids swam for about 2 hours. Yes....we took a GREAT nap saturday afternoon!
