I have blogged in quite some time; I just haven't really felt like writing anything. I needed too, but time just escaped me and it didn't happen. I'm tired these days...what can I say!
Here is our breakdown of summer 2010:
Preslie had her year-end dance recital (May), and I must say, she did the BEST out of every one in her class (no, I'm not partial at all).

Sadly, I went back to work and of course, just as the weather started to be summery!
Preslie went to Montana/Glacier National Park with my parents for a WEEK!
Preslie had her last day at Page's Daycare, so that she could start kindergarten.
Kycen started eating solids...yes, rice cereal, peaches, pears, apples, mangos, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, peas & bananas (didn't like either of those at all), along with some people food like watermelon, corn on the cob, bread, cupcakes (that's my boy!)
Had an all cousin and Grandma Goose tea party at Vintage Cupcakes.
Cousin Grace's birthday party at Pineview Dam.

Preslie turned 5 years old, with a Hawaiian Luau birthday party.

Kycen went to his first movie...I took Preslie to see Ramona and Beezus and he sat through it just wonderfully!
Kycen had his first holiday (that he wasn't a tiny tiny baby for), July 4th. He slept through fireworks (our own, and the big ones), while Preslie went with our neighbors to watch them.
Kycen had his first overnight away from me...I went to Wendover and he stayed with Jeni, his sitter (it was probably harder for me than it was for him to be honest).
Preslie started going to primary every sunday (beginning around her birthday)! I'm very proud of her!
Preslie had several sleepovers with Jessika, and even at my parent's house.
Preslie went with my parents, Kyrie, and Devin to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.
Preslie went hiking and fishing with my parents and Devin.
Spent the weekend in Park City at my parent's timeshare/condo with Julie and her girls.
We put a relaxer in Preslie's hair to see if her curls would loosen up enough so that her hair went down, instead of up. It worked while it was wet...lol. It's loosened just a smidge.
Aunt Marsha moved to Texas with Sarge (about a week ago).
I'm sure plenty more happened, and I'll add more if I can think of them at a later date. Even though we didn't do many exciting things this summer, like travel the world, we did get to do a few things. Here's wishing we have another great summer next year! Only, lets hope it lasts longer next time...
