Build-a-Bear

We got a gift card to Build-a-Bear quite some time ago, and Preslie thought it would be a good idea to take Kycen for his birthday. The weather hasn't cooperated the last several weeks, and it's all Preslie has been able to talk about for those several weeks. From the commercials on tv to the ads in the mail, it has consumed our household. The weather was finally nice enough to make the 45 minute drive to Salt Lake City tonight.

Preslie chose a cute lamb, and Kycen got the owl. Kycen would just hug the unstuffed animal...it was darling!

They named 'em (Kycen's is Hoot and Preslie's is Penelope)

And Kycen cried. He was done. So we packed up and headed home. Both kids slept the whole way so there was silence in the car! All in all, it turned out to be a pretty good night out with the kiddos.
