Last Day

""So I kept the kids home today because we had dentist appointments (well not Kycen, but you know what I meant). All went well...no cavities for either of us, YEAH! Before the dentist, I took Preslie to have school lunch at her elementary school. I'm trying to get her used to the idea of eating school lunch and what it's all about. Seems to be working out well; the few times I've taken her she's like it. It's actually a really great idea-free school lunch all summer long for school age kids. And if I want to eat too, well then it only costs me $3. Who can beat that?! You can't really eat that cheap for lunch anywhere else...

So tomorrow is Kycen's first day at the new babysitters. I'm not nervous per se, because I really think she's going to be great with him. The few times I've talked to her, she seems really excited to have a baby around (he's the only one under age 2, all her kids are older, and she's done having babies herself!) I just hope it's not too hard to get back into the swing of things at work...I've been off for the last 12 weeks for hells sake! There's no easing back into it for me-we're going straight cold turkey, jumping right in with both feet.

On another note, Preslie did sleep in her own bed last night. Yes it was in my room, but she stayed in her own bed all night and was proud to report this morning that she didn't pee the bed. Tonight, ya she's still awake and will be such a lovely girl in the morning when I wake her up at 6am to get ready for school. Yikes! I did figure out how to upload pictures like I wanted, so here is a picture of my little man from today.
