My time has come to an end...

Today is my official, last day home on maternity leave. The last 12 weeks have gone by sooo quickly. Kycen will be 13 weeks old next tuesday...I wouldn't believe it if the calendar didn't confirm it. Have I accomplished anything in my time off? I'm gonna go with no. I had a few to-do's, but not many, and definitely not any really important ones. In a way, going back to work is sad because I have to leave my cute little baby with someone ALL day long why I'm at work (a someone I don't really know). In no way am I saying that I would or could be a stay-at-home mom...I would be bored out of my mind I think. Another downfall to going back to work...the weather is FINALLY starting to be nice. It's the middle of June, and we're finally hitting in the 80's temperature-wise. I would love to have spent the last 3 weeks at the pool starting on a tan, but NO! No sunshine for us, only rain. But on the positive side, I do get to have more adult interaction than I've been having for the last 3 months. And those who know me, know I LOVE to talk.

So, Kycen will be off to the new sitter Jeni, and Preslie will continue on at Page's for the rest of the summer.

Here's to day 2 of my goal to blog everyday. My real challenge begins Monday-figuring out how to be a working, single mom of 2. YIKES!
